A river runs through it--this whole section of Vermont, between Killington and Woodstock. What a beauty. Lots of places, like the local ice cream shop we went to today, has outside chairs where you can stare at this river. The covered bridges that dot the...More

Such a AWESOME place to look around for covered bridges! This one is really great because you can check it out from both sides! Don't miss it! BOOM!

Have been to this area of Vermont many times and am always excited to return. The river, the country roads to leisurely drive (River Road of course!) the many places to stop and explore, the covered bridges. I hate to have to go home!

We drove over this bridge at least three times, just a lovely, very long bridge. Feels like a step back in time.

Even in winter. We came in a quick warm spell after Christmas. With evening rain the river flow was strong. Catch the covered bridges at Taftsville and Woodstock.

This is a beautiful river. If you drive around and look at the covered bridges you'll see this river from different vantage points. There's also so many awesome photo opportunities to be had. Enjoy!
