This is a beautiful Castle but the locals have yet to grab its potential as a tourist spot. It is one of the most important sites in the country yet they do not realise this. At the station do not get into the first taxi...More

The decorations were tacky and covering all the furniture and everywhere. Annoying. That and the tourists making blood sucking sounds. Had interesting anecdotes of the past in English. Great view of the valley below.

Amazing night. Best place to go for 👻 Halloween 🎃. Get to go through the castle and than head to the garden for a dance 💃 party. Everyone in high spirits and dress for the night. Great costumes.

We visit the castle couple of days ago. The organisation of how many people can get in, it is terrible. We were stuck in a small room with at least 60 people waiting to walk up some secret stairs. The Halloween decorations was really bad....More

Nice place to be. Great views and photo shoot spots. They try very hard to make you feel it is a creepy place but in that point of view it just a failure. To put some skeletons, skulls and spider webs doesn't make it creepy....More

Loved this castle, it's such a maze of rooms, staircases and balconies. I recommend getting there early as otherwise there are huge queues. You can't visit Romania without seeing this 😁😁😁

Huge crowds pushing you around in a place that has nothing about Count Dracul, who is the epicentre of the visit. It has plenty instead about Queen Mary and other sympathetic fellows; it has also some artificial spider nets to put you in mood. There...More

Hi Alexis; No, you can't stay at Bran Castle as it is a private residence and still owned by the royal family! There are several hotels in the village of Bran probably with views of the castle though. Yes - there is a secret... More
