Great skiing on pistes which are crowd free. Plenty of choice between the three valleys to keep you occupied for six days. We never queued for any of the lifts although you may have to wait for the cable cars to move between the stations. This however, was not very long. Lovely establishments to eat in up the mountain that... More

First time we came here, but we were pleasantly suprised how good it was definatley would come skiing here again. Would highly recommend to anyone who goes skiing. Although not great for begginers and some of the runs are graded too hard than they actually are. E.G some red runs are more like blue runs. Would definatley come again.

Big mountain, great skiing. best kept secret in Italy. The year I had time to discover the ski area from Gressonney to Alagna and St-Jacques. Skiing with a mountain guide is recommended if you want to go hors piste, actually you should not go without. Absolutly beautiful

Monterosa is a charming ski area. Generally quiet pistes & no queues except at the weekends. Not ideal for beginners, it is an intermediate paradise on piste and offers AWESOME off piste! There is a marked itinerary off the Indren lift, & lots of options from easy piste-side adventures to the very extreme.

We've been here four times now and can't get enough of it - going back next year - always brilliant ski conditions. Amazing mountain restaurants. Slopes are always quiet and no lift queues. Pistes are excellently groomed. A hidden gem. Loads of different slopes. Not a beginners' area though. Definitely for the intermediates to advanced with plenty of off piste... More

Very good for average level skiers. Not much people on the slopes comparison with other ski resorts - it is very good advantage. Slopes always are in great chape. In snowy days there are planty space for off-piste/off-road skiing - recomend to try it one day. :)

Really nice and varied ski area - easy motorway blues and very challenging off piste. Excellent lifts and very quiet in January when I was there. Although a bit of a lack of snow at resort levels - snow making and pistes very good. Also not so many Brits there. Recommend booking a guide and going off piste.
