Enjoyed stopping in while on a Richmond brewery tour. Had some good beer and enjoyed the visit, which is a really large indoor/outdoor space. Had some hiccups with service, different staffers told members of our party different things about what they could and couldn't purchase, which was annoying when you're ordering from the same bar within 5 minutes of each... Their staple beers are good, the barrel aged brews are where they shine. Enjoyed every single variety! They have free italian bucce game outside. The picnic area is basic but good. All the berry based varieties are amazing. Parking was limited, street-based. The staff was informative and helpful.

This place was decent. Its located in an industrial area with a few other breweries around. I went to get their gingerbread stout (which I heart amazing things about) but they don't roll that out until early November. I instead went with a flight, nothing jumped out at me too much but overall it was a decent spot worth going... More

This place has two large buildings - one that houses the brewery, offers tours and tastings and plenty of indoor seating, the other that houses a bocche ball court. In front of these are plenty of outdoor tables, more field games, food trucks, etc. Quite the operation they have going on, and a huge amount of people hanging out. As... More

We stopped in for a craft beer while visiting our son in Richmond. We were fortunate enough to be able to take a tour of the facility with Jillian. The information provided was interesting, comprehensive and delivered by a young lady who is passionate about the Company she works for and the beer they brew. The product was as good... More

Loads of food trucks with all different types of food for each person. Two of us had the pulled pork, one had a burger and another had the quesadillas. All the food was excellent and the choices of beer at the brewery were fabulous. Casual outdoor atmosphere. Lots of people had their dogs there. Food trucks are only on Thursday... More

We happened upon a festival complete with food trucks and bands but it looks like hardwood would be a great spot even without that added bonus. They have a bocche court, are dog friendly outside and have some good brews. I particularly enjoyed the raspberry stout.

My friends and I needed a place to celebrate after a hard week at work. Few better ways than the food truck pilgrimage at Hardywood. Great beer, great food, great times. It was a little pricey but omg the options are fantastic. Next time we'll bring our dog, it is *definitely dog and kid friendly. My wife and I will... More

I was at this brewery on a nearly 100 degree day, so we wanted to stay inside. However, this place was so busy that there weren't any tables or seats left inside, so we sat outside for a while. Outside there are some lawn games and additional seating. I believe there was a food truck in the parking lot. The... More

We visited on a hot Saturday! Know before you go that there is very very minimal seating inside and otherwise several bar tables you can stand around inside. If you are looking for actual seats/tables expect to sit outside. There were multiple events going on inside so maybe on a normal day there are tables and chairs? The beer was... More
