After, having read the reviews on Trip Advisor I stopped by on my first Saturday off at around 3:16pm hoping that I could go inside for a tour. I was excited because the building from the outside looked absolutely amazing. However, there were no doors open to go inside. I checked the parking lot to see if, there were cars... More

The Branch House, home of this group, is one of the most fascinating houses in Virginia. I recommend visiting to see the house itself. The VCA has regular exhibits as well, and the house's scale and size can accommodate almost all exhibits of interest to the group and its visitors.

Housed in the Branch House, this museum is more an homage to its location than to architecture. The Branch House has been home to many different eclectic tenants before being taken over by the museum. It is a beautiful building but I wouldn't exoect to spend much time here.

Not much here but a lot of photographs showing award winning architectural projects in Virginia and outside. Building itself is also interesting and worth a quick look

I took a 90 minute Talk and Tour which was just wonderful. One needs to register beforehand as space is limited. On this tour one gets to see parts of the house that are not open to the usual visitor. Up on the roof we went, where we got to see structural details up close. Into areas that are usually... More

The center often has exhibitions and offers guided tours of the building. Very unique and uncrowded place to go.

I recently used the VCA for a corporate event and the attendees really enjoyed the venue. The building is gorgeous with a ton if history and also houses a great museum dedicated to architecture. I definitely recommend both the museum and private space for events.
