This place is easy to get to by googling Belle's isle and exiting right before or right after either side of the bridge. One one of the sides the parking was free in a neighborhood with a close walk to the beginning of the park....More

Went to show company from out of town the bridge. Took a walk across and visited the island. Kids had a fun little swim. Lots of families. Also beware broken glass- wear swim shoes. Seems not all follow the no glass rule.
