Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We took a ferry from this picturesque port to Corsica at the end of June last year. In normal times, this port has a decent volume. The marina of the port has 750 berths for various categories of vessels up to 35 meters, and the daily transit is 3000 tourists. But! Whether because of the requirements of PCR tests, or something else, but there were no passengers. It's hard to believe, but there were 5 people on the huge ferry. At the end of June! So we saw the beauty of the port of Santa Teresa Gallura alone. ..

In fact we would like to report the centre historical of Santa Teresa di Gallura that we loved: lots of cozy small restaurants, pizzerias, Gelato italiano and souvenirs shops.
A very pretty small beach town in a italian way: church and a piazza. And besides Santa Teresa di Gallura Beach ! A GORGEOUS turquoise beach!

We caught a ferry from the port, with our tour group and the bus we were using. Not much at the port - a souvenir shop and cafe. The ferry from here to Bonifacio in Corsica takes about 45 minutes and it is a great way to travel between Sardinia and Corsica.

Hidden in the back of the beautiful small town of santa Theresa. A Jewel on these costa's because there's nothing to do and nothing ever happens here. Just sit down and relax

Bought a cushion cover from this shop. Assistant VERY displeased when we wanted the display cushion not a different one from underneath, a different design. It was stuffed with plastic bags which took about 5 seconds to take out. Would have liked to walk out but pressure of parking time. A pity because everyone else we have met in Sardinia has been very pleasant.

We visited this port by virtue of us arriving on the ferry from Bonifacio, however it stands up to a visit on its own.
The whole scene and setting around the port is great, and its close proximity to the town makes a visit even more worthwhile.

Port is very nice, not too expensive and uncomplicated.
Showers on the other hand are bad - beside the fact that you only get 1 token (5mins), the showers are not maintained at all. Shower head did not work properly (so in the end you have to finish your shower on your boat) and half the shower room was under water from previous user.

On the northern tip of Sardinia, i love its attractive and popular seaside resort surrounded by beautiful people and beaches. In the high season, summer its the main departure port for Corsica and the Maddalena islands.
The town’s hub is Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, lined with bars and restaurants plus the tourist info centre.

Rather nice small port, home of many small boats and a couple of big ones.
Starting point of the ferry going to Corsica.

A pleasant little town, much developed over the last forty years. A wonderful view over the Straits of Bonifacio to Corsica.
