Again nice park to honor Kerouac, a native son, & nice that it is in the downtown area, though again, the city needs to maintain, which they are taking car eof now!

I used to love this park. It's is beautiful and really pays tribute to Kerouac really well. However, recently the park has become overloaded with addicts and homeless people. But, then again, he was an addict himself....

I love this park, right at the edge of downtown. I have been here several times for various events such as the Food Truck Madness for the Lowell Food and Wine Festival. The benches and walkways were nicely kept and its large enough that you...More

Kerouac park is a small green space with a monument to Kerouac. It has had its share of issues but has improved greatly even since last summer. Police have upped patrols and cameras are being installed. It is a good spot for little ones to...More

The monument is entirely well suited to sitting in the rain sharing a bottle of cheap wine with the homeless and beat. It's more "Dr Sax" than "On The Road", more suitable for Lowell than for Big Sur.
