This statue is located right in the middle of the square, which could be a delight to relax in summer time. However due to the weather conditions we were experiencing, we could not even look straight at the statue. What I found interesting is that...More

Harvard is always a good place to visit with all its fame. Nice campus with a lot of history. The statue is always having tourists.

No visit to Harvard is complete without touching the toe of John Harvard. There is always a line waiting to be uplifted by the "founder". It is also interesting to discover the three lies.

Cool to see - it's in the Harvard Square area so you may as well as go check it out. Students call it the statue of 3 lies - be sure to ask your tour guide why they do that.

It was just a statue in a school yard. Could have been anyone, anywhere. (I'm not fond of statues in the first place)

Some say its a good luck to touch the shoe of John. If hundreds of people touch his shoes everyday, make sure to wash your hands afterward to kill the germs.

Take a picture here with your hand on his shoe as my friend told me to do. It seems to be a well established tradition at least judging from the amount of people that do it and from how much the shoes are polished!
