The children's room is the best! Easy for your kids to roam free, be a little loud and pick out whatever they want to read (and check out). They have storytimes for both babies and preschoolers but note that parents queue up early for both...More

We are very lucky to have such a wonderful main public library (and system of libraries) in Cambridge. I cannot say enough about how great CPL is. They put on a lot of free interesting programs, author talks and educational events for the public. There's...More

I always love a library, and Cambridge's new library has it all, without losing the beautiful old library with its arched ceiling and glorious woodwork. Especially liked all the "to go" selections, ready to be picked up and checked out at a moment's notice.

A real meeting place in Cambridge. The beautiful lawns were alive with sun bathers, Frisbee throwers, soccer player, children learning to ride bike and play baseball.

Worth a visit just to see the architecture. A wonderful design for a modern, vital and active public library. One of the best in the U.S.

We stayed warm during the wintry NE months by sitting in the library. Nice! To distinguish yourself from the homeless, pick up a book or magazine and look busy.

This is a very spacious library, even allowing for snacks and drinks on the first floor. Service was great every time we asked for help.

The library was always a cozy spot for book lovers. It's part of the Boston area library system. The new addition was wonderfully planned. Lots of computer access and a great place to sit and read all day. It even has a snacking area. Very...More

A beautiful public library with an outdoor playground and lots of green space outside. When the weather is nice, it's wonderful to get coffee from Darwins Ltd (a coffee shop that's about a five minute walk from the library) and relax on the grass with...More
