This place was worth the two trips on two days, plus in the rain, and walking many blocks to get to! It is a two level building with two different shopping environments. Downstairs is a combined costume store and $2.00 per lb. (As of August 2015) clothing store. You literally walk into a open room with piles of clothes on... More

Seriously, there was some cool items to be had bit when it's well over 80° inside and there's only fans blowing the hot air around, you lose the ability to shop. "By the pound" sounds cool until you see the piles and piles of mess on the floor. Upstairs was labeled and neater, but the real vintage gems are surrounded... More

Great store just wish they had things organized by size instead of color. None of the items even had as much as measurements on them which was a bummer because it meant a lot of trying on items that didn't end up fitting in the end.

This is a great place if you like funky places. It's a bit disorganized which for me, adds to the charm. The first floor is pay-by-the-pound (heaps of clothing on the floor and if you have time you may find some treasures) and costumes. Second floor is more traditional clothing and higher priced but still a great bargain. I found... More

The basement level contains clothing strewn about over the floors with a variety of folks sitting sifting through piles. A bit off putting if you are not a thrift shopper, the pile contains both decent brand and conditioned clothes as well as junk that should be thrown out. Got some decent things but it is a job to search. Brands... More

Going through the piles and piles of clothes on the floor for $1.50/lb can be equally thrilling and overwhelming. I was very pleased to find a fancy button down shirt from banana republic in my size ...after sifting through clothes for probably at least an hour. If you are a hardcore thrift store shopper who loves to find amazing deals... More

I visited the Garment District / Boston Costume to purchase Halloween costume pieces. Although I did find what I was looking for, I only purchased one of the three items I found because I found they were a little over my price range (surprising, since it seems to be inhabited by broke college kids). I will definitely come back for... More

If you're ok with thrift store clothes, you have to attempt the clothes by the pound section. They throw bales of clothes on the floor so you have to sift through them to find gems. I went on a Saturday, and found a couple of sweaters, and two jackets with tags still on them. Then I tried a Tuesday a... More
