It is a collection of museums within a museum. Various private bequests have given this place an outstanding European collection - probably the best I have seen outside of the Met in NY or the Louvre - bats way above average. Walking distance from the...More

Brilliant Renzo Piano museum architecture to be explored. Enjoy the courtyard cafe alone,no entry fee. The galleries with a square layout improve the pleasure of viewing Harvard's superb collections.

The Fogg museum has a much broader and deeper collection of artwork than I could have ever expected - keeping in mind that I had spent the previous dat at the Boston Museum of Fine Art.

Had the opportunity to visit the museums during a recent visit to Boston and was lucky enough to visit when there was a art festival going on at Harvard and the admission to the museum was free!

You will not believe you are visiting a college museum when you visit the Harvard Art Museum. This museum was closed for some time while it was being renovated and it is beautiful.

Many museums have much larger collections, but few have the supreme examples of Art, especially Modern that Harvard has in its collection. The Lorenzo Piano building is worth the visit alone
