I had not visited the Fogg Museum since 1969. Since then, 3 museums have been united. What a great morning we had. We particularly recommend the very first art gallery you enter, filled with impressionist and post-impressionist art. Breath-taking.

Visit these museums! Solid, beautiful architecture alone is worth the very reasonable entry fee; the stunning collections dazzle. No blockbuster shows here, but some of the world’s most elegant, unforgettable art, shown and explained perfectly.

I only had 45 minutes to check out this museum, so I didn't get to see everything. I spent most of my time at the special Bauhaus exhibit, which was fantastic and educational. Being a fan of architecture it was nice to reacquaint myself with...More

I only visited this museum because I was already on the Harvard campus, but now I would recommend this museum to anyone visiting the Boston area. It is not a small museum as I thought it would be and I ran out of time there...More

We visited this Museum with my wife. There was few people in the museum but almost 5 security personnel for each tourist. What's more disturbing was the security personals keep eye-watching you so long that you feel you are a guilty person or unwanted there....More

Great plan for Sunday. The entrance fee is $15 but if you are a student from anywhere you get the free entrance.

The museum has a great collection: while not the British Museum (or even the MFA for that matter) it has the beat of what a smaller museum should have to offer. That is, a serendipitous collection that emerged through the power of the school and...More

Such a treat for $15! Wonderful collection of art and antiquities! Italian Renaissance collection has Botticelli and Ghirlandaio, beautiful Portrait of an Old Man by Rembrandt is also there, but the most amazing part is their collection of the Impressionists and Post Impressionists. Picasso’s “Mother...More
