As we were at Bracciano's Lake and I haven't seen many castles during my life, we decided to visit the local Castle. Aka Castello Orsini-Odescalchi (family name of the previous and current owners, respectively), the building is from the 15th Century and, apart all its...More

We had visited the Air museum closeby and we stopped to see the castle on the way back to the train station. It is definitely worth it. A panoramic location only amplifies the castle's beauty. Also, very interesting weapon collection, and interior wall decorations.

If you’re an Adam Ant fan, his B-grade movie “Spellcaster” was filmed here. His first appearance in the film is at 72 minutes (into an 83 minute film).

The castle is nice: it has important origins, as it was a tactical military stronghold. A pope was also there to avoid the plague in Rome. External walls are in a good shape, and internal rooms are well conserved. What makes it special, however, it's...More

This place is very nice! Great views! Our City Wonders Ltd tour guide (booked through Viator) was fantastic; I believe her name was Micaela. She did a great job, very knowledgeable.
