Could have stayed here all afternoon! The main building was modern and clean. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Arrived around 1pm and the 'reception' area was busy. We bought tickets in advanced so didn't have to wait long. Changing room was a little cramped and finding a free locker was difficult, but not really moaning about. All was... More

My husband visited blue lagoon 10 or so years ago. He's been determined to take me ever since. We bought a premium package and ate in restaurant(which was Devine and I'd truly recommend), however my 3 stars are due to Q's to get it, crowded changing rooms, Qs for showers( mandatory before entering lagoon), lack of hooks which means you... Even the weather on the day we had booked The Blue Lagoon was terrible, cold, very windy and raining all day, we really enjoyed it. as many reviews here say it is over crowded, but as you can say Blue Lagoon is one of main tourist attractions in Iceland, i guess you have to expect it. still it is quite... A very interesting venue and concept which should be experienced when in Iceland. The pool and lockers are overcrowded, and we're not sure how germ-free the water is given the large amount of visitors - we tried not to think about that too much and have not suffered any problems since. Lunch at the Lava restaurant was very good, as... More

Beautiful place. After a week sightseeing, we decided to take our last day in Iceland to relax and so we did. We were lucky to only find tickets early in the morning which turned out to be a great thing. There was no line at check-in and there were fewer people in the lagoon. We arrived at about 8.30 in... As already mentioned in several reviews previously, the lines and locker rooms are crowded and loud, another experience was expected here but when you are in the lagoon it is a great experience. Very glad that we did this when we were in Iceland and would still recommend this to others.

Highly recommend to go here, absolutely fantastic! And we went here on a rainy gray cold October day, you swim outside, but it doesn't fell that way, its like you suddenly comes to an entirely different place, were it's nice and warm and you feel like taking a drink in the pool bar or just spend hours bathing in the... I was really looking forward to this experience, after reading all about the Blue Lagoon...but was unexpectedly disappointed. Now, I MUST give credit where credit is due...the lagoon itself is absolutely stunning; beautiful blue water with steam rising from it, landscape that is mesmerizingly cool and sexy, a unique sight that is undeniably magnificent. A KODAK moment for sure. However,... More

So- we visited in July 2016 on a Sunday. We arrived in Reykjavik that morning (overnight flight) and decided to spend the first day relaxing. We arrived at the Blue Lagoon around 1 PM. First, it is crowded. The line in lobby was endless. There was a great deal of noise that made the check in experience very hectic. The... More
