What a lucky day we had: marvellous weather while visiting "God's land" with everything Iceland has to offer: volcano E15, waterfalls, off-road across the rivers, glacier, the black sand beach, phantastic nature, an excellent driver and guide - very well knowledgable about history, geographic, volcanos, nature and many details of his country. We could experience once more how passionate Icelanders... More

Very unusual and well worth the time and money. Your 1.5 mile hike is really just a nice walk on a small gravel path. Follow the leader style. At the volcano you are dropped via what looks like a window washing cage on a high rise. A little scary. But very cool. A 6-7 minute trip to the bottom. My... More

As a single traveler I was unable to book this tour online (minimum 2 people) but I sent an email and Clint added me to a group of two. It was a fabulous tour from start to finish. Clint is an extremely knowledgable guide and very passionate about life in his home land. This was one of the most informative... More

Quite spectacular but also really interesting. The guides were excellent and entertaining. Good idea for a wet day too.

We were very interested in seeing Eyjafjallajokull, the volcano that caused so much trouble a few years back. Clint, our guide, was a wealth of information about Iceland, geothermal power, and volcanos. The two of us were lucky enough to be the only ones on the tour so we had a private driver/guide for the 8-hour tour in a luxurious... More

We chose this tour because it covered a lot of great natural and cultural attractions in one day and was in a regular vehicle, not another big bus tour. GREAT choice. Alki picked us up right on time and then tailored a trip that was just what we wanted - his humor and deep knowledge of local history and culture... More

Erling picked us up on our last night for a photo shoot. Tour was cancelled previous night due to clouds. We had our doubts due to it snowing must of the day but he said it would clear up. We had some time to kill and he showed us around some sights. We got to our spot and the show... More

We booked the 2 in 1 excursion with Volcano tours. There are cheaper options but this is a lot more personal and we were fortunate to be on our own so we're able to choose where we stopped for lunch. Clint our driver was like a walking version of the lonely planet guide as he knew everything. It is fair... More

Clint took us on a 2 in 1 tour to the South Shore and the Golden Circle. It went by pretty quick considering we drove for long distances. There are many many stops along the way. Unfortunately, there was an insane wind storm which prevented us from seeing the blue ice glacier and national park (which are two highlights of... More

A brilliant day despite bad weather. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He let us go off to see the sights by ourselves which was nice, although he walked us to the glaciers and parliament. He drove very well including across ice and snow. The sights we saw were amazing especially on the south shore. My two kids loved... More
