They have large scale recreations of numerous things in Lincoln's life, and those are well worth seeing. The museum is much more commercialized than other Springfield Lincoln sights, but still worth it.

I think Margaret is right. The senior volunteers there are very friendly and accomodating. Although I doubt they could dog sit for you, they would definately try to help you find a solution. For the record, I think... More
