I've found the leaflet which I picked up in Crete which states the half day tour to Milatos goes on Sun, Mon, Weds & Friday. The tour to Vrahasi goes Tue, Thurs & Sat. Trips return at about 2:15pm. Hope that helps!

I think you just book in sissi. We just paid on the train.
