Here is the deal probably by the time you read this the place will be torn down. the city plans on distroying this for some project in the near future. Check out Centruylink center or any arenas that are located in Omaha and surrounding areas.

The Civic has seen better days and is supposedly meeting the bulldozer soon, but it is always accomodating for all types of events and rarely are there lines at the bathrooms. Sticky floors and dirty areas from time to time, but that doesn't take away...More

Went to the Straight No Chaser concert (highly recomended if you get a chance). it was actually in the Music hall that's part of the civic building. auditorium was good sound was awesome. could have a couple more places upstairs to get drinks so those...More

Once a nice auditorium, the Civic has had its days. Age has taken its toll and it's probably not worth renovation. Ok to attend children's events, but wouldn't pay top dollar to attend an event there.

Sad to say, but this location, which once hosted a presidential convention, prize fights, and famous concerts, just doesn't compete well with the newer venues anymore.
