If you're going to visit Omaha you must enjoy a day at our zoo. This is our #1 attraction. Also, be sure to try the ice cream!

This zoo is absolutely the best zoo I have ever went to. The new forest addition is the greatest I have seen. You have to take your time when going through the forest because there are so many things to see you don't want to miss anything. Start at the top so you can see everything down the 3 levels.... The Henry Doorly Zoo is a big zoo. It would be hard to see everything in one day. I went twice and still missed a few things. The aquarium is also top notch with a good amount of live coral.

This is not a "tourist" attraction, this is an attraction for everyone! Locals and visitors alike will get an amazing bang for their buck at this top notch zoo. The entry fee is very reasonable considering all the different types of attractions inside the zoo. My favorite is the Lied Jungle, but truly, it is all amazing. You can spend... More

You can take a tour with a guide and if you are not from the area I would recommend it. Also, there is a train ride to see a portion of the zoo animals. Each year they add a new addition such as the desert doom, the fish aquarium, and last year they added a splash pool area for children.

This zoo is funded by many local philanthropists that want to keep this zoo at a high quality attraction for our area along with providing homes and research for many endangered species. You cannot go wrong with visiting this zoo. Many happy memories will be created here!

Probably Omaha's top attraction. Far exceeds any other zoo I have visited including Chicago and San Diego.
