Our favorite zoo in the four state area around Kansas. Lots of shade, sitting areas and beautiful landscaping. It has the most buildings for several types of exhibits. We liked the aquarium and butterfly buildings. The geodesic desert dome was spectacular. There are some inclined...More

If in or near Omaha, this is a must. Take the skyfari ($3 one way) for an overview of the zoo, then work back toward the entrance. Had great view of rhinos and lions from above. Loved the giraffe feeding ($3). Beautiful aquarium. Remember to...More

This is by far our favorite zoo! There is so much to see and do and much of it is inside which makes it a year round destination. There are misters everywhere in the summer so you can stay cool while visiting the outside exhibits....More

We are zoo people, love visiting them in almost every city we go to, and this is one of the best if not the best. I don't understand the reviews that complain about strollers and children, of course you will find kids at a zoo,...More

This zoo has been much fun over the years and we have visited since our kids were quite young. During this visit, we noticed many updates. It would also appear that more changes are coming soon. I love the big cats, gorillas and penguins.
