After coming out of a gift shop I heard live music in the park next to the Performance Arts Building. It was raining but still a great time. Thursday evening's have live music, food tents, beer tents and the making of a great experience!

The theater presents Alaska's Great Northern Lights featuring the Aurora. This is an accumulation of many night time Aurora Pictures gathered over an extended period of time. You get to see more colors than one would normally see by oneself. Amazing display.
We actually attended the Sydney Laurence Theater inside the Performing Arts Center. We watched the Aurora Borealis show. It was fabulous. If you have never seen the Northern Lights and are in Alaska during the off season for the lights - then go see this...More
PAC is a beautiful building and our seats were awesome, expecting to hear a outstanding musical production... wrong...
Something was very wrong with sound, girl singer was blasting and it was terrible, couldn't make out what was being sung. Many people left during intermission.
