This is a pull-out right off the highway. Sometimes this gets very crowded and if the road is busy it is difficult to get back on the highway. Beautiful view. No facilities.

The parking lot is fairly large, so no worries getting a spot - if you miss this place, there are 4-5 other smaller turn-off(s) 1/8-3/4 miles down the road. Views are of course spectacular!

Not a beluga, yet! Passed by a number of times, each time stopping to catch sight of a beluga whale. Great place to stop, rest, and enjoy the views.

On Seward Highway's soundbound lane is Beluga Point. Although I saw no whales, I observed huge snowy mountains which were surrounded by large spruce trees and the shining green water.

Well worth a few minutes to drive out from Anchorage. We were not there at the right time to see Baluga whales but we did see Dall Sheep high up on the mountain. You really do need binoculars to get the best viewing of them.

This is a pull-out on the Seward Highway with some signage explaining the place. The Alaska Railroad tracks pass directly in front, between the highway and an outcropping of rocks. We went here several times just to sit and enjoy the water and the mountains,...More
