It just looks like a greenhouse on the outside, but walk in and you are transported to a tropical paradise. Amid lush foliage, flowers, a fish pond, and the sounds of parakeets, you will forget it is winter in Alaska. And, it's free!

We took the kids and grandkids sledding and had a fabulous time. We brought a little cooker and heated hot chocolate. There is a building with bathrooms and it was just a great time. Sledding at night and the hills were well lit and safe

Russian Jack is one of the many parks that serve the people of Anchorage. For those who live in northeast Anchorage, it provides walking, biking, and ski trails. It's nice to take a morning stroll and see a moose or other wildlife. Nice if you live here, but it's not a place tourists would enjoy.
