This is the most delightful of Seattle's many weekly markets, and one of the few that operates year-around (on Sundays). The street closes, the stalls are erected by 10 am, and street musicians almost always show up. This is in the historic part of Ballard, which has been beautifully restored and is human-scaled with no towering buildings. You could make... More

A rich variety of stands from local organic produce to nicely prepared pizza's and more. And that all in the middle of the road with coffee or thee houses as well as some other nice little shops. Good fun!

We had a great day at the Farmers Market. Nice organic food and plenty of prepared food as well as other interesting things to look at and buy.

If you're visiting Seattle make your friends take you to the farmers market in Ballard on Sunday. It is open all year. Great to go anytime but summer and fall are my 2 favorite times to go.

I started at the top of the market and soon realized that I was on a hill and if I wanted to see vendors on the other side I would have to tough out the uphill climb. I would like to suggest that they put in a middle aisle instead of two side aisles, so all vendors could be seen... More

Went every Sunday during an extended stay in Seattle. Be sure you get the $10 flowers. Also, the tiny donuts. Ask for half powdered half cinammon. And for the love of all that is Holy, try to be more creative than the well-known coffee joint for your AM Brew. You'll be glad you did.

Excellent quality produce, fruits and veggies. Wonderful snacks and fantastic home made brick oven pizza. Cute boutique shops and nice people. Would go back.

We spent Sunday morning exploring the Ballard Farmer's Market on a warm sunny day. The market has something for everyone. There are several places that sell all kinds of meats, cheeses, honey, and every organic food you can think of. If you like flowers you can't beat the prices for the bouquets available at the market. Cheap is the word.... More

I always look forward to shopping at BFM in the summer. It is a special time for me because the rest of the year I work on Sundays (the day the market is open). The rest of the year I shop for fresh and local products in a variety of stores in different locations but in summer I save time... More

We love going here for a nice stroll, and a few nice snacks or brunch on Sundays! Parking is hard to find, but we usually park pretty far away and go for a nice walk instead of trying to find close parking. Nice people, flowers, veggies, drinks and food!
