Planes roar overhead; traffic rumbles on the 520 bridge; and music blares from boats. Though the Foster Island Walk pleases visually, I find it hard to ignore the noise. When I take a walk through nature, I appreciate peace and quiet. Those qualities were missing...More

Wonderful walk! Lots of birds, bugs and plants! Go on a dry day, in Seattle that might be tricky. There are benches to sit on, but not a great place to bring a picnic, however, outside of island there are lots of places to eat...More
