We took an early morning trip—excellent views —within an hour we had time to walk into the main part of Winslow and see the outdoor exhibits at the historical museum. Off on procedures for walking passengers were streamlined. Only concern was that the ferry office...More

Catching a ferry and enjoying the views up on deck is an affordable and liberating way to enjoy the splendor of the ocean inlet and the Seattle skyline. Regular services allow you to stay awhile in Bainbridge Island or Bremerton. It is a great value...More

We took ferries to go to the one of the islands! The price is not expensive, there is a nice schedule forth and back. The ferry we took was big, clean and we enjoyed our trip!

Took the ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge island. The service is quite frequent and the ferries are almost noiseless and you feel like you are gliding over water. There is enough food and the seating is very classy and we'll arranged for families as well.

We needed to get out of the city, and the ferry was a perfect way to see the water and islands. Driving on took minutes, and the ride was smooth and fun.

Don't go to an island on Friday afternoon. Otherwise the ferry is a great way to get out of Seattle for some peace and quiet and to see something other than blacktop. And they even serve wine on board!

There's no sweeter way to get from Bainbridge to Seattle, and vice versa, than to step or drive onto a ferry. These boats are big enough to get a good walk in as you cross the sound. And if you get out to Port Townsend,...More

In a good way that is even with the construction of the long over due upgrade to the facilities on the Seattle waterfront. The Bremerton facility is very nice and quite the update from when I first started to ride the ferries back in 1981....More

I recently rode ferry to Bainbridge island. It was smooth ride with beautiful scenery and the sun was out. No problems getting though there is a lot of construction going on.

It is charged by vehicle. When I rode from Bainbridge Island to Seattle, it was one price, not per person.
