Gigantic ferry super clean and fast! I took the ferry to Bainbridge Island which was an amazing little town with a unique Historic Museum. The views from the Ferry of Seattle, Cascade Mountains, Mt. Ranier and Olympic Mountains are just out of this world! Important when you buy a ticket for ca. $8 in Seattle you do not need to... More

We had dinner and then drove our car onto the ferry for trip from Anthonys back to Seattle; huge ferry; comfortable seating; eats and drinks available and a smooth ride and the view of Seattle from ferry at dusk was spectacular; would have loved it in daylight also. What a nice treat to be able to get on this ferry;... More

I live on the Kitsap Peninsula and I rely on the ferries to get to Seattle where I worked for many years and where I regularly play. If you are in Seattle, you must take a ferry ride. It's cheap, you pay only one direction, you can ride to Bainbridge Island (35 minutes), shop and/or eat in the little town... More

Get to the ferry dock early. The ferry is a little spendy but worth the experience. If you get to the ferry terminal early park and walk to Ivan's walk up window and order some great seafoodeals to take back to your car to eat while you wait.

This is a great way to get on the water and snap beautiful pictures of the Seattle skyline/shoreline. It's only 8 bucks to walk-on to the ferry to Bainbridge Island, where you walk can up the hill for wine tasting on a cute little block with multiple boutique tasting rooms.

I take the ferry from Bainbridge Island over to downtown Seattle several times a year. Coming from Port Angeles it is possible to get to downtown Seattle by skipping the ferry and driving the long way around via the Tacoma Narrows Bridge but you would miss the extraordinary opportunity to see Seattle, the Emerald City from Puget Sound. Every area... More

Even on a rainy day this is a great boat ride but on a sunny day it's fabulous. I prefer to walk on unless I am actually trying to get somewhere on the other side because the wait can be long in a car and it's more expensive. Using Uber on the other end might even be a savings over... More

I try to ride the ferries everytime I'm in Seattle. They're affordable, clean and views are worth it - mountains on one side, seattle city skyline on the other. Go at sunset for a beautiful picture!

Ferries leave on time, boarding is a breeze, the facilities at the ferry terminal are well-maintained.
