About
This must-see museum exhibits creative and colorful blown glass sculptures of renowned artist Dale Chihuly. Eight indoor galleries and lush landscaped gardens feature a mix of new and past significant works. They are awe-inspiring whether you visit during the day, or in the evening when the sculptures are lit up. The highlight here is a 100-foot-long glass sculpture suspended in a glass conservatory—one of his largest ever. Located at the base of the iconic Space Needle, you might want to buy a combined ticket for cost savings or get a Seattle City Pass. – Tripadvisor

    Beautiful, but limited exhibit
I visited on a sunny day, so enjoyed the outdoor exhibits as well as indoor. Since many indoor ones were lit up, I was happy I didnt choose the night hours to visit. My only beef is that I wished there were more sculptures to see since the admission fee is over $30. If you combine it with the Space Needle, go before 11am when the ticket is cheaper.

    Magnificent!
This museum is incredible. Stunningly beautiful! Chihuly's art creations are a must-see in Seattle or wherever else he is displayed. I recommend you also visit the theater room to see videos of his other installations and try to understand how much work goes into each display and the intricate (and huge) art pieces. Breath-taking!

    Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum
We have seen Chihuly’s work at various botanical gardens before but seeing so much of his work in one place was really cool. We added this to our Space Needle tour and it was a great decision. It is not a huge place so it doesn’t have to take a long time. The cost isn’t cheap but we thought it was well worth it.

    Spiritual art work
This is a must see exhibit. I had no idea this artist existed. Visiting here is close to a spiritual experience? The artwork is simply amazing. And in many cases, unbelievable as to how some Of these pieces could be created by a human being. We lingered here for a long time surrounded by some amazing artwork, It's also right next to the Seattle Space Needle that you can visit while you're here, It's easy to take the monorail from downtown to get here.

    Beautiful and colorful glass pieces
The exhibit was very cool and we really enjoyed the pieces. Very colorful and exquisite. Each of the designs had details about the art piece on the wall and history Behind each. You can take pictures and videos but not touch any of the artwork. We paid for tickets via the kiosk outside so it want too crazy busy that you need to make reservations. Great excursion to add To your Seattle list of things to do.

    Not to be missed
The displays and gardens were amazing. The self-guided tour gave us plenty of time to view the exhibits and take pictures. The crowd was managed very well so that the wait was short and the galleries were not too crowded. Highly recommend seeing these gardens!

Make sure this is on your Seattle itinerary!
A must see while in Seattle. We went in the afternoon and had beautiful views of the Space Needle through the windows in the atrium and in the garden area. The glass is stunning. We had seen the traveling exhibit in Boston a few years back, but this was definitely better. You can take time for pictures and they have people in the galleries who will take your picture for you (for free). We stopped at the cafe for a quick snack. Definitely don't go out of your way for that, though it was fine, but pricey. We did not reserve tickets ahead of time. We just got tickets there and were able to walk right in.

    Amazing glass works
I’ve see his work in St. Louis and Vegas but this is by far the most amazing display. Could be because he is from Washington. There is a lot of information about the artist and his pieces as well. Even my kids who are teens were really impressed. It’s crowded but the line to get in was fast and buying tickets in the spot was easy.

    Into the looking glass
Lovely way to spend a couple of hours and see what beautiful glasswork. There is a little theater inside that shows how Dale Chihuly approached his exhibits and his craft. We especially enjoyed his narration of his work.

    So much amazing glass!!
This place is amazing - so many detailed sculptures and large installations. I could go through the place a dozen times and see something new every time. Save time to watch some of the videos at the end, especially the chandelier making.

We took the Link light train from the airport to Westlake Station and then the Monorail to Seattle Central, next to Chilhuly Glass and Gardens. The Link was very clean and good value. We were less impressed with the Monorail. We arrived at Chihuly about 10.30am and bought tickets there. It was quite quiet but was busier by the time we left. The glass structures are absolutely beautiful – definitely a must see if in Seattle. The garden was smaller than we expected and the Rhododendrons had finished flowering but still a gorgeous setting. The shop is cashless, even for a dollar purchase.

Absolutely amazing. One piece is more incredible and impressive than the next. Definitely watch the short videos. And grab a pizza (surprisingly yummy) in the plaza to watch the glass making.

So much color & creativity. His signature bowls & squiggly glass abound. The garden is very clever with the plants echoing the sculptures. A must see when in Seattle.

BEAUTIFUL! Really interesting place and gorgeous pieces of glass/art. Amazing to see and learn about them and the artist. Get the citypass- much better pricewise. Give time especially if you want to take photos as there can be a lot of people. Watch the videos- they are very interesting.

I've always liked Chiluly, and now I LOVE it. This is not a small museum with small pieces of glass in cabinets to gawk at. This is a gallery with giant INSTALLATIONS inside and outside. This is an absolutely DO NOT MISS thing in Seattle, and it is worth every penny!

Excellent museum with stunning examples of beautiful displays made of glass. The videos explaining the process should be seen. The gift shop is very good also.

This was such a beautiful and amazing place. I especially enjoyed that you can walk through leisurely at your own pace. And for someone with mobility issues, I LOVED that there are benches scattered throughout the displays...it gave me a chance to rest and enjoy the displays. This spot appealed to a wide age range...even the 14 year old said it was the highlight of our time in Seattle.

I have never been to anything quite like this. The glass sculptures are amazing, colorful, and breathtaking. The talent and skill to put this together must be incredible. Photos are nice but don't convey the beauty of these constructs.

In one word, if given the chance - GO!

A friend suggested this museum and we didn’t know much about it, but absolutely loved it. The glass displays were unbelievable - so gorgeous! The colors were so vivid!

We loved the exhibits and the garden. It is hard to say which was our favorite as we easily could have spent twice the time here. This is a place I would say the educational video in the exhibits is worth sitting through - fascinating to see the process of how they make such large pieces.

(I am not sure I would bring young kids…our teens really loved it but it may be too fragile / breakable for really young ones…)
