I really enjoy taking a walk in Ravenna Park when I'm visiting the north end of Seattle. The trails and paths are nice and there are many places that you will find yourself having no idea of being in the middle of a large city....More

Ravenna Park is one of the many really nice parks in the city. Sometimes while you're walking it through you can almost forget that you're in the middle of a city. If you haven't been and you like nature you need to go.

While visiting friends living in the university district of Seattle we ventured into Ravenna Park for an afternoon walk with our kids. This large outdoor natural park had well maintained paths and was beautiful.

Nice and easy walking trails. Well maintained park. My husband even did some geo caching! The length from end to end is about a mile. We walked about 2 miles and it was relaxing. We saw joggers, walkers, and cyclists in the main trails. Lots...More

This is a gorgeous and unspoiled park smack in one of the fave neighborhoods of Seattle. Great for walking about and if you have a dog, it will be a happy place!

For 41 years, I have loved this park. A round trip walk is but 1/2 mile, through a cool and quiet ravine that could not be developed. Green forests and a recently day-lighted stream add to its attraction.

Remnant of the natural outlet of Green Lake into Lake Washington. Both of these lakes were larger before modern development. Green Lake is now surrounded by a park but has had its natural sources cutoff. The very large trees that once were along the stream...More

This is a very nice park that feels almost hidden from view. There is really a sense of walking down into the park from the neighborhoods up "above" it. It is definitely worth visiting.
