Went to see the Fremont Troll during our girl's weekend. It was neat. Nothing spectacular. But I would recommend stopping while in town just to see what it's all about.

This is one of those tacky touristy things but was glad I saw it. Haha! It is free. Actually saw him on the way to a Lake Union tour.

The Fremont Troll brings a smile to everyone that visits. This site is enormous and that is part of the fun while visiting. An off the beaten path must see.

My hostess made a quick stop at the Troll after dinner near by for a photo op. It is quite interesting to see this giant troll carving/sculpture under the highway. Lots of families also made the stop for a photo op. I also enjoyed looking...More

This thing was difficult to find! Don't try to use your GPS to find it, because it will force you to cross a bridge with no exit. We circled this thing 3 or 4 times before I turned off my GPS and just looked at...More

Ok I get it, this thing is a legend. However if you aren't in the area just enjoy a picture as this ugly beast crushing a VW beatle is only so charming in real life.

It was an interesting design. Not such a big deal to me but part of the Seattle City Tour, so if yo take the tour you will definitely see the troll. Worth a picture anyway

Skip the downtown flare and checkout Freemont. The troll if big and downtown also hosts a Stalin Statue from when the Soviet Union fell. Also check out the rocket and crazy downtown shops.

Visited the Fremont troll on our recent visit to Seattle. It was a quick stop to see this quirky and fun art installation under the George Washington memorial bridge. Plenty of parking nearby. Fun to climb on the troll and take pictures.

Just walk up, it is a piece of public art sitting under an overpass.
