We decided to stop here on the way to Gas Works Park. The Fremont troll sculpture was located under the George Washington Memorial Bridge. The surroundings were residential but I preferred visiting in the day. Street parking was tight but was able to find a parking spot within a block. The Troll appeared like it was crawling out toward the viewer initially grabbing onto a full size VW Bug. The Troll was much larger than I thought and strong enough to support people climbing all over it to take their photos. It was made out of concrete but starting to look a little worn. Overall worth a quick stop to see this unique part of Seattle.

The Fremont Troll was a fun little stop while we were exploring Seattle. It's unique, quirky, and free to see (though there's a little donation box). Street parking near it was a little difficult but we found a spot. It's a worthwhile stop if you find yourself in Seattle.

I first learned about this troll a few years ago when visiting family. It's amazing to see as you drive up the hill to see the troll rising from the ground as you approach. We were there a couple of weekends ago and were the only people around.

We like seeing different things on our trips, so we made a stop at the Fremont troll. The teen kids climbed around & we took some fun photos. The area had an overall stench to it. It smelled heavily like urine. It also appeared as though people were living behind the troll. When we were leaving we noticed someone’s car window had been smashed in. So, maybe not the safest area. If you go, park where you can see your car. It’s free to park on the side of the road & free to see the troll.

We almost skipped this due to time, but we were so glad we didn't! This was a great, free stop, and such a unique sculpture! It's massive! One of the pics has a lady standing on his hand in it to show how big he is. In his one hand he is grasping a VW Bug. He's super comical and entertaining. There really isn't any parking around there. People were making their own parking spots. It was very congested the day we went. Across from the troll there are cars parked (as you can see from the one pic I took) along the road. There were steps leading to the top on the right side if looking at the troll. I almost feel this is a must do for any Seattle trip!
