Took the 20 minute flight with Kit for our group of three. As a SEL pilot, she pointed out a few differences between the land and sea aircraft. Even with the ear plugs, we had no problem communicating. The Cessna 210 was an old bird with dated interior but a strong workhorse overall. We chose Seattle Seaplanes as it was... More

Three of us recently did this tour that took us on a 25-30 minute flight over Seattle. Our pilot was a very lovely capable woman who took us on a wonderful seaplane journey across the skies of Seattle over all the relevant landmarks including the space needle, sports stadiums, bill gate estate and the entire Seattle area. It was magnificent... More

Came to Seattle with my boyfriend for my birthday. We had seen Seattle Seaplanes on an episode of Bourdain and since I've always been obsessed with planes we had to go! We actually forgot to book it but called 2 days before we wanted to go and they had availability! $200 for the 2 of us to take a private... More

We took the 20 minute scenic flight over Seattle taking off from Lake Union. We floated across Lake Union passing the floating houses to take off. The pilot had given us a map to follow as we flew to know where we were and what we were seeing. We were in the back seat which made communication difficult due to... More

Kenmore publicise themselves more so we were disappointed when they were fully booked during our stay but then we found Seattle Seaplanes on line and we got booked in for a flight with Yvette on a beautiful day. Same price and couldn't fault the experience. Enjoyed sitting on their floating deck in the sun with free access to water and... More

A fun and fascinating flight around the entire Seattle area. It felt like we could almost touch the Space Needle. Check-in was quick and easy, and our pilot, Kitt, was a fun and friendly guide full of information about all the sights. Landing was feather-soft, and we enjoyed a comfortable 30 minutes in the air. What a great highlight for... More

To ensure we had good weather (it is Seattle afterall), we booked the late afternoon ride for 2 the morning of. The aerial tour is pretty easy: all the major Seattle sights (space needle, sporting stadiums, Univ of Washington, Lake Union, Brainbridge Island, Bellevue, Bill Gates House, Ballard locks etc.). They give you a tour map and there is no... More

We got very lucky. The weather was beautiful. Blue sky, blue sea and warm. We picked Kenmore Air over the competition as they answered the phone at 8.45am and fitted us in that day. Our pilot (Kit) was really friendly, very knowledgeable and super competent. We all (4 of us) hugely enjoyed the flight and the landing and taking off.... More
