We were very disappointed that there is so little music memorabilia compared to EMP days. It was pricey to get in and the only real highlight was the Star Trek exhibition.

My wife wanted to visit the Museum of Pop Culture on our recent visit to Seattle. I wasn't sure how the kids would enjoy it but we needed to kill a couple hours before our space needle tickets. At $25 for adults $16 for kids over 4, i thought the price was a bit high, but not unexpected for a... More

Quite frankly, this is the third best place on the Pacific Coast where my inner nerd feels like home (bested only by the San Diego Comic Con and LA Universal Studios). MOPOP has several permanent exhibitions and often brings in "traveling exhibitions" as well. Right now, if i am not mistaken, they are hosting a Star Trek collection (in celebration... More

The museum has installations on horror and sci-fi movies as a fixture. The wall of guitars is amazing.

I was not too excited to go and spend the ticket price, but I now want to go back! It has so many things to see! Plan on a few hours here. Tons of videos to watch from your favorite pop culture icons. Music, horror, fantasy, scifi, special exhibits, everthing from the last 60 or so years of pop culture!

I was definitely surprised by the quality of the museum, with everything from fantastic movie props from new and classic sci-fi and fantasy movies, to an interactive sound studio. Then the building architecture itself is quick amazing. A great way to spend the afternoon.

We really enjoyed this museum. We're in our 30's, and we saw alot of the actual props from movies we grew up with (Terminator, Star Wars, etc). There's also a HUGE screen that was playing popular music videos, and that was a cool place to sit for a minute. Get a Seattle CityPass and save money here and at other... More

Certainly a passion for music and the history of musical instruments is needed to draw you to this attraction. It was difficult to find enough interesting exhibits to keep me focused for more than an hour. The layout of the museum has a free flowing layout that allows you to meander from level to level. It was confusing to move... More
