If you're curious what Seattleites do on fair weather days, visit Green Lake Park and take a walk around the lake. You'll see all of Seattle either walking/running alongside you, laying in the grass, playing basketball in the courts, or ultimate frisbee in the fields. Worth a stroll, for sure. Street parking can be a bit of a hassle but... More

walking/jogging, swimming in the summer, kayaking. Everyone loves this park. Don't forget the dog park, tennis courts, crew boathouse, paddle boats and surrounding restaurants and cafes. I'm a local who visits year round.

If you consider yourself a true Seattlite, you already know about this. Greenlake is the best spot in town to run, do some light jogging, walk your dog, or even read out on the lawn. On a beautiful day-you know where to cash me outside.

OVERALL: Safe and open place to get in a solo flat & fast run or walk & chat with a friend in the middle of Seattle. A go-to every time we have the urge to burn some energy in Seattle. PATH: Paved dual direction path bisected on each side for fast and slow paces. BATHROOMS: One per each mile. CROWD:... More

Love Green Lake, its so interesting looking at the houses all around the lake as you walk around it. Lovely in the spring when the cherry trees are blossoming!

We love our Greenlake. What could possibly be better than a lake in your backyard! Always something to do and enjoy at Greenlake. And dont forget to see what's playing at the Bath House while you are there.

What a wonderful neighborhood to rent a house for a family gathering before and after a wedding. There is something for everyone: fresh air, great walking, neighborhood restaurants and stores, and spectacular summer people watching!

After lunch we took a walk in the Green lake park which is opened to the public, a little beach and picnic area also had a boat launching area for non-motorized boats. Great for family gathering and just walk for fresh air and sun( very rare for the month of February)

Green Lake is an essential spot for exercise if you live on the periphery, but it's not memorable. If I were a tourist I wouldn't waste my vacation time there.
