This is an unusual and beautiful neighborhood to view homes. Our friends used to have a home here and, a few years ago, we were lucky enough to stay with them before a weekend on Puget Sound. Still fun to see even if you aren't staying here. Bring good walking shoes!

Queen Anne is a community that extends from near downtown to neighborhoods to the north. An older neighborhood with a variety of residential architecture, it is worth exploring if only for that. Great views and great food and great shops, what more can one ask for from a day of exploring in a special Seattle neighborhood.

I'm a little biased because I live here. :-) Very quiet residential living. Most of the streets are tree-lined with a variety of different types of single family homes with lots of character. Feels like you're in the burbs but you're close to everything. Queen Anne Ave is lined with some of Seattle's best shops and restaurants. Great place to... More

Some of the most awesome homes (architecturally-speaking) in the Seattle area. Interesting place to walk around. Friendly folks.

A nice place to drive up to see great views of the waterfront and the city skyline. There are a couple small parks on the hill where you can park for free and get out to take pictures. Make sure to take a quick drive around the perimeter of the hill to get a look at the big mansions up... More

Seattle is a unit consisting of many localities as large, sprawling cities often are. Each locality has a unique character, Queen Anne perhaps more than most. It is part of a peninsula, facing one side onto the open sea of Puget Sound, on another Lake Union and the channel that leads into the Lake. The part of the peninsula that... More

this is where i'd live if i moved to seattle. and money was no object. even right in town, many seattle neighborhoods are so quiet. this one is a mix of older and newer homes, with a lot of families.

The hills, the history and lots of fun places to shop and eat. Our favorite restaurant, Oaxaca's has a location there, and afterward you can easily walk off your meal by trekking down up and down the hill. Make sure you grab a cup of java, from one of the many choice coffee houses and also, check out the Queen... More
