This really is a small jewel, especially in fall when we visited. A true Japanese garden, serene, the path meanders giving constant new views. The water features are wonderful. Well placed rocks allowed us to cross the little brook which feed a good sized pond....More

This is a beautiful area year round. The price of admission is $6 for adults and well worth it. It is especially gorgeous in fall when the many varied maples turn color.

You'd never know you are in Seattle walking this excellent Japanese Garden just a couple miles from downtown. The #11 bus from downtown (pick it up at Nordstrom's as just 1 location) takes you directly to its entrance at the corner of Madison Avenue and...More

I love this place. I visit often during the Fall Colors season and in the Spring. It's a nice, tightly-packaged, well-manicured visual feast. You can also cross the street and wander through the Washington Park Arboretum for free if you need more trees and colors.

This little garden gem was an unexpected but wonderful treat. Tucked away in a somewhat residential area, the garden offers a gentle walking path through various styles of Japanese Gardens. The garden is well maintained and the Koi pond was lovely.

My husband and I visited the Garden in early September and we'll definitely go back as autumn colors show up more. (This really is a garden for all seasons!) Walking is very easy; the hardscape is thoughtfully done and plants are stunning. The brochure gives...More

I love gardens and was looking forward to my visit to Seattle to see all of the greenery (it's pretty brown in Texas in September). The gardens did not disappoint. While I loved all of the Japanese Maples (and the moss-like grass growing on the...More
