Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We walked this park from Elliot Bay and Centennial parks to the Olympic Sculpture garden.
Well paved and maintained, flat paths for non motorized multi use.
Relaxing greenery and views of the Olympics Mountains, Mount Rainier, and Puget Sound complement the walks or run.
No food service, no amenities.

Nice walking path and bike path along the water. The pocket beach is beautiful and is a very relaxing place to sit and take in the views. Worth checking out if you're in the nearby vicinity.

We hiked the Elliott Bay Trail and Myrtle Edwards Park on Saturday, June 17, 2017
After a filling breakfast at Seatown (see separate review) we headed off down Alaskan Way and eventually to the trail. We passed the cruise ship docks and waterside businesses on Alaskan Way. Once we reached the park and the trail, we were alone with the quiet of Puget Sound on our left and the city a few blocks away on the other side of the railroad tracks. The walkers and bikers have separate sides of the trail so it was easy to navigate without dodging speeding cyclers! We don't have a waterfront or a park like this in Phoenix, AZ so we enjoyed the moderate sunny weather and had ourselves a great time.

screw the other parks. This is the place to be. Obviously not a very wide park but its definitely great for a jog, or just a place to chill. I went ahead and walked along the coastline for 2 hours on a Friday afternoon. Amazingly green grass, really not that windy, crystal blue waters, amazing view of the skyline and the sunset (opposite sides), and just an overall great vibe. I'm sure the rest of the parks are great but this one definitely blew me away.

This is a wonderful park with a long trail for a stroll, run, skate or bike ride as well as just enjoying the wonderful views. Located right on the shore of Elliott Bay, the views of the Olympic Mountains, Vashon and Blake Islands, West Seattle, the Seattle Waterfront, Elliott Marine, Pier 91 and Magnolia make this one of the most amazing vistas in Seattle. Top it off with a visit to the Olympic Sculpture Park and you can make a wonderful day of it.

....because when WE were visiting Seattle, and took to the bikes to ride this waterfront park, it was closed.
To get it set up for Hempfest....
Word of caution - You might want to avoid being in Seattle during HempFest, unless you actually want to GO to HempFest.

Myrtle Edwards Park is a 1.3 mile promenade along the Elliott Bay waterfront with spectacular views of Puget Sound, Bainbridge Island, and the Olympic mountains. A 10 minute walk from the Pike Place Market and the central Waterfront, the flat, paved (and separate) walking and biking trails make the park easily accessible to everyone. Broad lawns, pocket beaches, and ever-changing land, water and sky scenes make this a popular spot for tourists and locals alike. Add the fact that the Seattle Art Museum Sculpture Garden is located at the South Portal of Myrtle Edwards park, and a visit will reward you with one of the finest outdoor experiences in any urban area in the world - and won't cost you a dime!

If you have only an hour or two to discover the soul of Seattle, a walk along Myrtle Edwards will do the trick.

I stumbled upon this park after walking through the Sculpture Park. This is a great park for taking a jog or bike ride along the beautiful Seattle waterfront! For 1.25 miles you can wind along a beachfront that many Seattlites don't even realize is available to them. I noticed a few homeless people, but not many. Most people there were taking full advantage of the long stretch of pavement and grass.

Also, remember that the park is 1.25 miles down and 1.25 miles back. So it makes for a really great work out.
