As Washington beaches go, this is one of the best. It has nice sand and a wide beach with lovely views. It is great for beach combing with the kids. There are some cute restaurants and coffee shops nearby.

Alki Beach is a great place to visit even during winter. The views of the water, the mountains, the city, and some amazing sunsets. I love walking on Alki any time of year.

I really enjoy this beach because of all the action it provides. First, the beach stretches very far down the shore, so it provides a LOT of space to walk up and down the shoreline. The view is magnificent with the Puget Sound with its...More
