The mediaeval city of Provins is nice and the walk along the city walls is nice, though tiring in the full sun and +40C(!).. make sure you are prepared. But it is nice to walk down the walls or along the top

You can access the top of the gate/ramparts via multiple staircases on the interior of the wall. Very beautiful view of the country side. For me it was essential part of my visit to walk on the ramparts of the medieval city.
