See the Davidson Glacier up close, from the vantage point of our 30-foot Voyager Canoes. The Glacier Point Wilderness Safari brings you into the Alaskan Wilderness and gives you a taste of the “True Alaska”.Your adventure begins at your cruise ship where we’ll board a high-speed vessel made for wildlife viewing en route to an Alaskan paradise. We’ll ply the waters of the deepest Fjord in North America with a naturalist guide, watching for whales, sea lions, porpoise, and many other species of marine wildlife. We land at Glacier Point and board our Safari Buses for a short drive over the terminal moraines. Our award-winning guides share with you the wonders of this Glacial Wilderness. A quarter mile hike will lead us to the iceberg-studded lake where we’ll paddle our canoes to the face of the glacier. This is an ideal family adventure and one you won’t soon forget!

Had a great visit from Skagway to the Davidson glacier with a tour group. Loved boats and guides and walking on the beach. A great trip

Took a boat ride abit of hike and then canoe to see this amazing sight so close you can touch it almost. Can never get enough of the wonder of a glacier and the colours the best blues. See it before it goes.

Start with a boat ride to be dropped off and met for a short 10 minute bus ride to the shacks where you are provided complete rain gear. Once all outfitted, a moderate walk as the path is not smooth, roots must be walked around,...More

Thanks to Nick for his wonderful humour and commentary, but we didn't see any bears and would like a refund lol! It was rainy, windy and sooo cold but we loved it! A raw and wild adventure in the Alaskan wilderness! Would do it again...More

It was awesome to stand at this beautiful glacier. The color of the ice was unbelievable. Our guide Nick did a wonderful job. Pictures can't replace being there.

We sat here for an hour on our cruise ship admiring this spectacle of the earth's past. It is a wonder to behold. You may even get a chance to witness some blue ice bergs

I don't think time of the day matters. We took 13:30 tour that started with lunch served outdoor with stunning views and it was absolutely perfect. What matters is the weather but can't do anything about that.
