Can't wait!

This is my favorite festival in Kennesaw. I love all the local artists and merchants. The food selections are also very good and broad. I can't wait for the festival this year.

Typical street affair with vendors plugging for a sale. Nothing special to return for. One polish sausage cost me $8. Parking $5. Would be more fun if food was reasonable.

Actually worked the festival one year and it poured. Many vendors had to leave because no provision was made for preventing the mud that resulted from the rain. If you are a crafts fan and enjoy fair food, this is for you. If you like fine art, like me, maybe not. My visit was in 2015, so perhaps it's changed... More

I have attended this festival many times with my wife before she passed away. We always looked forward to the Big Shanty Festival. Fun, food, shows, crafts, and filled with happy men, women, and children. Well organized and family friendly. If you get an opportunity to attend this festival, definitely do. You will have such a great time.

I have to give it to the small town of Kennesaw, they have some of the best festivals around. You really see the people of Kennesaw come together to have a good time with lots of really good food you can buy and walk around with and enjoy.

I have attended the Big Shanty Festival since it started. Marched with my children in the parade, and found lots of "treasures" at the vendors. Food is always a treat ( sort of like Carnival Foods), lots of entertainment for children and have first class vendors. Very well organized and we always have a fun time. Definitely a "Must" for... The Big Shanty Festival offers a great chance to get out and see tons of innovative arts and crafts, try different foods, and have some fun with the vendors. We walked all the booths and it took a little more than 1 1/2 hours, food stop not included, with children 8-10 years old. The Civil War re-creators were fun and... More

We live in Kennesaw and the Big Shanty Festival is always a must visit for us every year. It's like most other festivals, lots of food, vendors and entertainment, but it's very well organized and always a good time for everyone. If you are festival lover, then you will enjoy the Big Shanty Festival for sure!

A typical small town street fair, the vendors always have something new to show, but it is a walking show. If you have any disabilities at all, this is not the place for you. Parking is at a premium too.
