We are a small, personal shop that concentrates solely on educational & eco-friendly sea kayaking tours out of Seward, Alaska. We offer half day to multi-day tours in Resurrection Bay and the Kenai Fjords National Park. Our professional...more

We chose Kayak Adventures worldwide as we saw that they are part of the 1% for the planet club were they donate at least 1% of their annual sales to charity to address environmental issues.
The trip was a full days kayak and hike in...More
We were lucky to join the last tour of this season. The water taxi takes over 2.5hours one way to the kayaking location. We were able to see wild animals along the way, they stopped the boat and gave us time to check them out....More
I’d have to say that this is an adventure, everyone should and needs to do. My friend and I were just in Alaska, Labor Day weekend, and decided to go out on a whim and book the tour. We did a full day glacier kayak...More
We were very pleased with Kayak Adventures Outdoors. First, we were looking for a tour where time was spent kayaking, not riding on a boat or having a picnic lunch. The half day Resurrection Bay tour met those criteria. Second, the equipment used was quite...More
Always wanted to kayak near icebergs and glaciers. The boat trip to/from the site was big fun, with the captain slowing for wildlife sightings. And the kayak part was awesome. Will never forget seeing and hearing a glacier calve. Our guide was very nice and...More

We happened upon Kayak Adventures Worldwide after arriving to Seward with no plans for the next day and finding some of the tours booked closest to our hotel full. We couldn't be happier for the turn of events that led us to KAW: the staff...More
We did the evening tour and it was fab. Excellent professional staff who were knowledgeable and safety conscious. Loved the little hike to the rain forest as well as the kayaking. Recommend these guys if you’re looking for kayaking in Seward
We concluded our ten day trip with a morning kayak tour before we flew out. I was concerned because of the rain it would not work out very well. I was quickly assured by the staff that it was perfect for kayaking! Our guide was...More
We did the Aialik Glacier full-day trip in late July and had a great experience. We found the company to be very well-organised: after we had checked in they spent a good amount of time going through the items and equipment that we would need...More

Thanks for the great question and my apologies for the delayed response! Our Aialik Glacier Day Trip takes a similar route during the 2.5 hour water taxi ride, as the larger Kenai Fjords & Major Marine Tours. During the water taxi ride, we are definitely on the look out for marine mammals, and the water taxi ride doubles as a wildlife boat tour. It offers an intimate wildlife viewing experience, as our water taxi only fits 20 people, has a 360 degree wildlife viewing platform, and you'll have your guide right by your side the entire time! We usually tell guests that another boat tour might be a bit redundant, but if you're super excited about being out on the water, it could be fun to do it all over again! Our Aialik Glacier Day Trip is our most popular day trip, because it combines the wildlife boat tour out to the Kenai Fjords National Park with an opportunity to paddle near Aialik Glacier.
I hope that bit of information helps and please don't hesitate to reach out with more questions! We are really looking forward to sharing this place with you soon!
