My feeling is that the 6 hour tour is superior to the Resurrection Bay tour, you'll travel partially into the Park on the 6 hour. NCL uses Kenai Fjords Tours for their shore excursion vendor

Great boat ride that was comfortable, entertaining, and a real treat. The captain was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the history of the area. The crew was friendly and the boat was very clean. Both young and old enjoyed this excursion.

Beautiful view, sorry we missed the puffins but still a nice view. Next time we will go in September so we can catch a boat out to some of the islands/ inlets. Not a whole lot to do but the scenery is very nice and if you have kids the playground looks great. Like the history of the Santa Ana... More

Drove south of town then hiked to a beach area. Easy but scenic trail. Are the end of salmon run, saw many dead ones in the streams. This drew the bald eagles though.

Rain, fog & mist totally blocked the view but seeing the boats and fishing was entertaining. Walking through town with umbrellas provided some exercise and a chance to shop.

The weather prediction was rain the rest of the week but the sun was out for this day so I quickly booked a day trip out on Resurrection Bay. The bay was calm and the scenery beautiful. I saw eagles, seals, otters, one puffin and one hump back whale. This day trip shows the beauty of Alaska!

The bay area was just amazing to see all the sea life going by. Plenty of sea otters and ducks. When the sun finally came out, sunset was just beautiful to see and capture on my camera.

We went with Alaska Heritage tours on a rainy day. Wildlife had gone off to sea earlier but glaciers and scenery fantastic. Did see humpback whale, sea otter, Steller's sea lion, harbor seal

This is a must see while in Seward. The wildlife was absolutely incredible! Take a ferry tour or kayak, but get out on the water and enjoy.

I have been to Seward 3 times in the past couple of years - the Bay is amazing - for fishing and wildlife viewing. Be sure to take on of the boat tours..!
