The peninsula of Pelješac is the home of many good wineries and Frano Miloš is one of them. He makes wine the way his forefathers did. No new oak barriques with months of ageing to shape the wine. Frano uses the traditional 2000 liters Slavonian...More

I have been visiting Croatia for twenty years. During that time, I have met such an array of amazing and genuine people. Consequently, it was such a disappointment to visit this winery. The persons I met were so focused on the hard sell of their...More

Went there after my visit to Ston walls. I came just half an hour before closing and had the luck to meet Ivan, one of the owners. We talked a little and tried some great wines. Ivan really knows about what he is talking and...More

Stopped at Milos Winery after a fantastic lunch at the suggestion of our taxi driver. A 500 year old family owned winery, and had the pleasure of meeting Ivan Milos (one of the sons). It was such a pleasure talking with him about the winery...More

This small family run winery uses fruit from their own vineyard, wood barrels from Croatia, and everything is aged on-site. It’s a great place to learn about the special local grape variety and to see a small production family winery up close. Only reds and...More

Worth the charge to do the wine tasting at this family owned gem. The wines were very good and can be ordered on-line for delivery to the States. Owner’s son was knowledgeable and friendly.

This was part of a day tour that we took to a farmhouse, Ston salt flats and here. It was neat to go to a winery in a different country, however it was a bit anti-climatic. We saw all the things you typically see, the...More

Milos Winery was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. I am fascinated by the many regions of the world that have great climate and soil for growing grapes but it is the family’s stories that are always so intriguing. This winery is...More

This was a nice winery. They've been on the same land for 500 years and have developed several very nice wines. Lots of different tasting options to suit your budget and food was available, too. Good place.
