All top-notch experience! Our guide was most knowledgeable, courteous, and relaxed. Her portable loudspeaker was a little too loud and blaring, I thought, but that's my only negative comment. Price was right, there's no hard push for donations. You'll see the animals in three stages...More

Everything was as described on the website. The guide was actually a marine biologist, so was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the Seahorse farm. Of course the highlight of the visit was having one of the docents actually put a live seahorse on your...More

I was so impressed with the tour guides ! So informative and creative with explaining the precise directions we needed to follow to preserve these wonderful creatures! The seahorse farm sanctuary, has done a fabulous job preserving over 25 species in a living gene bank....More

Don’t get me wrong, the seahorses are VERY cool on this tour. Although it is neat to see what they have done, in the end this is a seahorse farm making profit. They did not explain how they were helping the wild seahorse population. However,...More

We went in and learned so much about the seahorses and why they are doing what they are doing at the Seahorse Farm. We need to protect our wildlife and they are helping save the wild seahorses. You at the end get to hold one...More

This was something someone else in the group wanted to do, I thought it sounded a tad spendy for a tour but thought it sounded cool. This place is awesome, you get to HOLD a LIVE SEAHORSE! Money made goes to good causes easily summed...More

I'm not into animal farming or exotic pets but my husband wanted to go here, and I'm glad we did. They talked about the ethics of selling seahorses and how they don't live long, so they established a community of polyamorous seahorses that can thrive...More

I really wanted to do this tour. Glad we did even though it’s expensive. Kids under 4 can’t hold the sea horse though. Tour was interesting and enjoyed the guide. Got great pictures and cute shop. Only complaint is the cost.

I agree, call them. They clearly said "no" based on past experience but it can't hurt to ask.

Most of the area surrounding the tanks is rock so it would be difficult to traverse with a walker and/or wheelchair. You also need to get right up to the tanks and peer in to see the seahorses. The tanks are probably 4... More

I think it took our group about an hour and a half to 2 hours max. At the end there are some aquariums with sea horses you can watch and the folks there will answer questions and chat a bit after the main tour/presentations. More
