Going to the seahorse farm was an amazing experience! I highly recommend visiting them. The price is high, however if you factor the whole facility and how much work/time/dedication goes into the care of these creatures it is totally worth it!

My wife really enjoyed taking the tour of this place. I however was not that impressed. Kids would love to touch the sea horses though.

If you have kids, this is a great place to visit. You learn so much about the endangered seahorses - how they are born, what they eat, how long they live, etc. AND you get to have a seahorse attached to your fingers. Very family friendly and the staff were extremely knowledgable and interesting to listen to.

This place was a wonderful place to stop on our visit to the Big Island. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and it is such a unique experience to not only see a seahorse up close but also to hold one! It was also great to be able to help support such an awesome initiative.

Okay, so have you ever held a sea horse? This is the only place in the US that raises seahorses. It is an incredible experience to have the sea horse wrap around your finger and just hang out!

It's a fun and informative place to visit, with the added attraction of getting to hold a seahorse in your hands (you carefully submerge your fingers in a branched pattern, and the seahorses cling on to you like you're a stand of coral. They of course make you wash your hands first). The guide was very good and it's clear... More
