Just be prepared for pilots that look like they just graduated high school. Very friendly, low key way to see the islands from the air while you move from one to the other. They fly lower than the big boys. Watch your head.(-;
We flew Mololele Airlines from Moloka'i to Maui for the first time and we extraordinarily pleased. We were a bit leery flying in a 9 passenger plane but it was efficient and delightful. So much better than our flight from the Big Island to Moloka'i...More
We travelled from Honolulu to Kona (via Kapalua) and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Check-in was simple and quick, and although it is a basic terminal there are still access to amenities and shade. Special thanks go to the employee who put us on an earlier...More

Aloha and thank you for the excellent review. Glad we were able to offer you the experience and services you were hoping for! Thank you for choosing Hawaii's Favorite Island Hopper.
I have to admit, I was nervous when I looked at the small plane because I can get airsickness. No worries!! It was fairly smooth and the view is the same as a tour! Really really beautiful. Highly recommend it. And there’s no security so...More

Awful! With tropical storm olivia expected to make landful in maui tonight and/or tomorrow, we wanted to change our flight to earlier so we dont miss our connecting flight back to the states. Literally every other airline is accommodating their customers with allowing them to...More
Flying with Mokulele Airlines of two experiences. Everything leading up to the flight – the booking, the online check-in, the changing of a flight after a cancellation – is a nightmare that seems intentionally complex. Everything on the flight, meanwhile, is an absolute delight, and...More
Did a round trip between islands on Mokuleke Airlines. Plane left when all the passengers were ready, so we got in early. Nice surprise. Because these are small commuter planes, weight is an issue. However, on the return flight, I was told my carry on...More

Aloha - thank you for the review. We apologize for the situation, it appears you should have been charged for the bag in both directions. A checked bag is free at 15lbs or less. We hope you enjoyed the flight overall! Thanks for choosing Mokulele.

You’ll be taking Mokulele in Maui to fly to Kona, so you do not need to take a van to transport, it’s walking distance. Out in Kona yes you’d need a ride from the main airport (where the main airlines land) to head over to a further side where Mokulele is. That is definitely not walking distance.
