We were enticed by all the great reviews. We have chosen Kona Long Board Lager as our beer choice with our meals (unless we had Mai Tais). However the experience at the brewery was less than expected. Lack of attentiveness and a flashlight to read...More

This is our 3rd trip to the Big Island, and we eat here at least once every time we visit. The atmosphere always puts us in the aloha mood. We usually have the shrimp melt and the brewmasters Mac n cheese with a seasonal beer....More

On this repeat visit to KBC, my family sampled a variety of food and brew. First come, first serve situation inside; wait typically for outside. Family and post-beach friendly. Slowish service, okayish value for money. Very malt forward beers. Recommend the hefe with lemon.

Got there when it opened at 11am on a Wednesday. The short line was seated quickly, and we had a nice shady spot on the patio. Shared an awesome Captain Cook pizza (medium was plenty for 2) and the $3.95 tap special, which was also...More

Have been to the Kona Brewery twice now and both times had a great experience, food was awesome, beer was delicious, tried four different kinds on separate occasions, enjoyed them all. Customer service was excellent as well.

Dry mealy chickpea burger not worth eating. Server not sure if “people who don’t like meat”liked it. The vegetarian nachos were also inedible

If you have ever had Kona Beer this is like a spiritual pilgrimage to the home land. While the food is fantastic (especially the pizza and the pulled pork), it is the beer that is great. And since this is the birth place of Kona...More

We loved our pizza here, although the large is not very large. Another fun part was the live band that played great music. People even ended up dancing! It was a fun place to go. We didn't rate it a 5 because we swatted flies...More
