The water is beautiful, the view spectacular. It can be a bit crowded but what do you expect for a beach and also considering that the Big Island has very limited Sandy beaches since most of them have lave beds to the water, this is...More

My husband loved boogie boarding here, and I enjoyed relaxing on the soft sand. There is plenty of parking across the street. Just be careful of the waves, as they can be pretty strong.

Nice beach for people that likes waves but dangerous for people that don't swim. Be careful because big waves could knock you off.

This is one of the few white sand beaches in Kona. It is wery small and kids like to hore around on their boogie boards. If you are a confident swimmer the snorkeling here is great following the rocks to the left or the right....More

The water is so warm and clear here you'll never want to leave. Plus you'll likely encounter, or bump into more likely, the resident sea turtle.

Hard to get to the water unless in good shape. Nice otherwise. There’s an education trailer about sea turtles and a concession trailer on the beach. Restrooms and a large covered area as well. Beach area isn’t real big.

Nice beach but pretty small and often crowded. Parking can be a problem as well. there are many beaches further north that are much better.

This is a lovely beach but make sure you bring your boogie board!! The waves will knock you down if you are not steady on your feet! Not a great place for swimming but excellent for wave riding. The Magic's food truck has wonderful food,...More
