Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stopped here on our trip from Porec to Pula to see these amazing structures. They are similar to southern Italy’s “trulli” used for housing, except not as tall or detailed as these are primarily used for field shelters. Looking up inside, it's fascinating to see the field stone corbelled into a cone roof without using mortar or timber framing.
Now on to the Parish Church of St. Blaise that is seen in the distance.

Stumbled upon this site by total accident whilst driving from Vodnjan to Rovinj but it was a nice little pit stop. Very interesting to learn about the kazun and see how they are built plus some nice locally produced souvenirs to buy. You won't need long but if you have a car and are in the area I would 100% recommend stopping and having a look around.

Great for quick stop. To see Kazuna in real size, not just souvenirs. Also for small children. They can see diferent stages of building.

Great little outdoor museum showcasing the use, architecture and building techniques of typical Istrian kazun. Kids loved it!

Kažun is actually a shelter for farmers built from a material that could be found all around. It is built only from stones found on the premices without any other bindeing materials. It is really facinating how they do it and in this little park you can see how they are built thought stages. And there is still no entrance fee.

Very interesting place. It has those kind of houses that were very typical in Croatia, many years ago.
You can go inside the houses and take very nice pictures.

Find some local culture about the old houses used for people working in fields (kažun). It's a great tradition.
