This museum touches on the history of the city. It's built inside the former one-room schoolhouse. An outside building allows you to view the area's first public transportation--the Hastie Bus. Great gift shop too. Even locals shop here for the perfect gift.

Just outside 29 Palms Inn - the only decent place to eat fine food around here. There are lots of desert memorabilia here - some would call “junk” but interesting stuff. A nice chronology of 29 Palms through the years. Great docants

This is a great place to look in to the past. They have excellent exhibition for everyone and the staff have a vast knowledge and are willing to share.
