There are drinking springs every so often on all the trails so you never have to carry a bunch of heavy water. Some areas have great signage, but other places are lacking. The best option is to buy a map at the Information center. Sights...More

large choice available of walking trails. There are local easy level paths and also harder uphill paths within easy reach.

Great walking from Mayerhofen, feel we were just able to scratch the surface in one week. Already plan to come back next year as so much more to do.

Our Hotel in Mayrhofen supplied hiking poles free of charge. They also had a hotel mountain guide who conducted brilliant hiking tours (free of charge) I suppose that other Hotels may do that, too. There are lots of hiking... More
