An absolute must see experience. Amazing views of the gorge on all aspects of the walkway, that you take to go through the gorge. Sensible walking shoe advised as there is a incline paths going up to the lake at the top.

Take your time to climb the wooden steps as water pours down the narrow canyon. Above the dam walk along the little lake, beautiful ponds on the left side.

free with summer card, free parking and so close to Kaprun. A nice 90min or thereabouts walk, on sturdily constructed wooden path given excellent and often very close views to the waters.
