The panorama of the Zinkenkogel is impressive - nowhere else you have such a beautiful view of the city of Salzburg, Untersberg, Dachstein and Co. Summer: The Keltenblitz with its 2.2 km of fun and excitement is Salzburg's longest and probably most spectacular toboggan run - a great destination for the whole family! Whether you are taking a leisurely ride up the mountain with the double chairlift or a hike from the parking lot of the Zinkenlifte with your loved ones past old tunnels, rejuvenation points and marvelous views - no matter – atop the Zinken a magnificent view over the Salzachtal with the old town of Hallein awaits you. Winter: The Zinkenlifte Hallein / Bad Dürrnberg present themselves in winter as a small ski area with a large offer for families away from ski masses - small but nice. Even children and snow lovers will get their money's worth! In the Zinki children ski area, the little ones can practice their first swings or let off steam while snowtubing.

We were staying just around the corner in Berchtesgaden. It's a really short drive to Keltenblitz, despite crossing an international border! There's really good parking and good signage, so it's easy to find. Worth noting that it doesn't open until 11 on most normal days...More

Austria's longest alpine coaster located only 20 minutes south of Salzburg. We drove here and for us the entrance was a bit hard to find but it's near enough to the Hallein salt mine parking area. You can purchase 1, 2, or 3 rides. We...More

A good fun attraction. Initially a bit apprehensive about what we were letting ourselves in for, but there was nothing to fear. The chair lift up gives some great views. The ride down is in a plastic sled on a track/monorail. There is a seat...More

This was great fun and I was really apprehensive about it! Our boys are 13 and 9 so perfect for their age group. We all really enjoyed it and I would recommend having at least two goes. Get there early as it gets really busy...More

We have ridden on many Alpine slides in the United States but this was a bit different. You have a seatbelt and it rides on a track so there's no chance of flying off the track when going fast like on other alpine slides. They...More

I went here with my husband, 2 children age 10 and 2yrs 6 months and my parents in their late 60's. The place is beautiful. You can walk, however, I'd imagine this would take a very long time, or get the chair lift to the...More

I was staying in Salzburg so had to use public transport (use the OBB app or website for details). It was easy though to get a train to Hallein from Salzburg and then a bus up to Bad Durrnberg. The bus stop is directly opposite...More

A big guy is no problem. The maximum weight is 130 kg and the safety belt has to be closed. You can leave the backpack at the cash desk.
